Damn the inventors of the Cadbury chocolate egg. In our post-Easter consumer economy, Cadbury eggs can be had for a pittance - and that’s why there’s a box of them in my desk. Calling out to me, softly, to wrap my taste buds around their luscious chocolaty goodness.
The TomTom was a bit of a spontaneous purchase; TigerDirect was selling refurbished One’s for a ridiculously low price, and I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did - these little things are just amazing. I’m especially enamored with the idea that I can create my own points of interest and map overlays; I might try making an overlay for Umstead Park with all of the hiking trails on it.
But for now, I’m going to go eat chocolate eggs.

Ugh…those eggs are nasty! You can have all you like on my behalf! I like the Caramilk ones though!
I’ve toyed with the idea of getting a GPS, but I’m not on the road enough to use it. You just gave me an idea for a Christmas present for my husband though!

I would be lost frequently without my GPS. And I hardly go anywhere. I thought it would just be neat to have when I got it, but I didn’t realize how much I would really use it.
