Funkadelic
It’s one of those days.
On the drive in to work this morning, it started spitting rain the minute I pulled the car out of the garage. By the time I got to work, it was cold and drizzling, and not the least bit enjoyable.
NPR was playing a piece about four North Carolina soldiers who were killed recently in Iraq. I’m a conscientious objector to all war, and it saddens me to imagine kids ten years my junior getting killed in such a pointless “military exercise”. If there’s a God, I hope he forgives every self-serving politician that dragged us into that fiasco, because I certainly won’t.
I’m getting the itch to do some traveling again. The bike has new tires and a new chain, and is ready to go … I just need to figure out where (and when) I want to journey to.
Any cheering up will be graciously welcomed.

Well, the west coast states are really, truly beautiful. Arizona is always nice this time of year. It’s gonna be really hot, but I love it that way. But then again I’m not sure that you’d be willing to travel that far on your bike. Definitely a good way to see the country, though
