Some “Odd” Artifacts

Triangle MedallionI was cleaning out some old boxes the other day, and happened across the following three artifacts.

The first is a triangular shaped medallion. I’m guessing this would have had some sort of “ring” on top that would have allowed it to be worn on a ribbon, as some sort of presentation medal. It has the letters “PCP” on it, and a peculiar logo that I don’t recognize. The enameled color on it is a dark, rich purple.

Small PinThe second is a small lapel pin with the Odd Fellows logo on it. The back of this pin is a “screw-on” design, leading me to believe that it’s a few years old.

Breast Pin, Odd FellowsThe last artifact is a rather elaborate breast pin that has the Odd Fellows logo on it, and the letters PDDGP. On the back is inscribed, “Presented to F. Morgan Pile, Sept. 2oth, 1945 by Board of DDGP, SE Pa.”

Frederick Morgan Pile was my great-grandfather. I have these three bits (which I assume are related), and his World War 1 discharge paper.

Does anyone know anything more about what these artifacts actually are? I’m assuming he was involved in the Odd Fellows, but I don’t know anything about them, other than the bit I found on Wiki.
