I went out for a drive this morning, to visit the local flea markets. Many local Raleigh readers will have heard about the big counterfeit bust at one of the local flea markets … anyways, I thought it would be interesting to go out and see what things were like “the day after”.
You could tell something had happened; the parking lots were nearly empty, and there was a low murmur throughout the stalls. By 10:00, though, it seemed to be business as normal, except for the news vans in the parking lots.
After all of this excitement, I drove past Raleigh’s new Rolls Royce dealer. In case you didn’t know … we now have another vehicle choice. Next to Leith Mercedes and Leith BMW, the new dealership purveys England’s finest to Raleigh’s finest.
The shiny new cars were sitting inside of a glass showroom, and the best I could do was to snuggle up to the glass and leer in. Outside, though, were several used models, including a pearl-white Rolls sedan.
If you have never seen a Rolls up close, make a point of doing it soon. These cars literally drip quality; from the glassy-smooth interior to the carefully sculpted hood emblem, there’s nothing about a Rolls that fails to impress.
The flea market and the Rolls dealer. A nice way to start my Sunday morning.
